Earn and Redeem Points

Everyday Rewards+ Card:

You will earn 1 "Point" for every $1 in eligible Net Purchases. In addition, you will earn:

(1) You will earn 3 additional Points on your first $2,000 each quarter, 1 Point after quarterly maximum, during each billing cycle at merchants classified as a restaurant, fast-food restaurant or bar.

(2) You will earn 1 additional Point for every $1 in Net Purchases during each billing cycle for transactions that a merchant classifies as a gas or electric vehicle charging station (excluding wholesale clubs, discount stores/supercenters and grocery stores/supermarkets).

(3) You will earn 1 additional Point for every $1 in Net Purchases during each billing cycle for transactions that a merchant classifies as a grocery store or supermarket  (excluding wholesale clubs and discount stores/supercenters such as Target and Walmart).

(4) You will earn 1 additional Point for every $1 in Net Purchases during each billing cycle for transactions that a merchant classifies as a streaming subscription service.

Each merchant’s business is identified by a category code. We do not determine the category codes applied to merchants’ businesses and reserve the right to determine which purchases qualify for additional rewards.

College Real Rewards Card:

You will earn 1.5 Reward Points (“Points”) for each dollar of Net Purchases (as defined below) charged to your Account during each billing cycle.

Real Rewards Card

You will earn 1.5 Reward Points (“Points”) for each dollar of Net Purchases (as defined below) charged to your Account during each billing cycle.

Bonus Rewards Card

You will earn 1 point, plus a bonus of .25 points (1.25 total), per dollar spent on eligible Net Purchases (as defined below) charged to your Account during each billing cycle.

Bonus Rewards PLUS Card

You will earn 1 point, plus a bonus of .50 points (1.50 total), per dollar spent on eligible Net Purchases (as defined below) charged to your Account during each billing cycle.

World Mastercard Card

You will earn 1 Reward Points (“Points”) for each dollar of Net Purchases (as defined below) charged to your Account during each billing cycle.

Net Purchases are purchases minus credits and returns. Not all transactions are considered to be Purchases and eligible to earn rewards, such as transactions posting as Convenience Checks; Balance Transfers; Advances (including ATM withdrawals, wire transfers, traveler's checks, money orders, foreign cash transactions, betting transactions, and lottery tickets); interest charges and fees; credit insurance premiums; and transactions to (i) fund certain prepaid card products, (ii) buy currency from the U.S. Mint, or (iii) buy cash convertible items. Upon approval, see your Cardmember Agreement for details. Subject to applicable law, you may not redeem rewards, and you will immediately lose all of your rewards, if your Account is closed to future transactions (including, but not limited to, due to Program misuse, failure to pay, bankruptcy, or death). The points will NOT accumulate if an Account is not in good standing under the terms of your Cardmember Agreement. We may decide, at our sole discretion, which transactions qualify for points, now and in the future.

Once you have earned enough points for a reward, redeeming is simple. You can use this website to turn your points into rewards with just a few clicks of your mouse. You can also phone the Rewards Center at 888-229-8864 and a Rewards Service Advisor will assist with your redemption.

Our online redemption center is convenient and easy to use; it’s open 24 hours a day, so you can check your point total and request a reward when you have the time. You can shop for a reward, choose from the available options, and make redemptions all without leaving your computer.

Your Rewards program offers a variety of exciting rewards including travel options, merchandise, gift cards, event tickets, statement credit, or a deposit to a checking or savings account at the financial institution associated with your Account. Please visit the Rewards Center for more details on your reward options.

Any points that you earn will remain in your account until the end of the calendar quarter, until 11:00 p.m. Central Time, that is 5 years from the date on which they were earned. For example, if you earned 500 points in May 2022 and didn’t redeem the points for a reward, these points will remain in your account until the end of June 2027. Redeemed and expired points will be based on first-in, first-out process.

Your account must be open and in good standing according to your Cardmember Agreement in order to redeem points. Subject to applicable law, any remaining Rewards Points will be lost when an account is closed.

Once you have earned enough points for a reward, simply log into the rewards site. Select the Choose Your Own Rewards button and enter the required information. Points will be deducted from your reward account, and you will receive a statement credit that will cover the cost of your designated purchase within 1-2 statement billing cycles of your redemption. You can also phone the Rewards Center at 888-229-8864 and Rewards Service Advisor will assist you.

When you make a purchase on a prepaid hotel or car reservation with your rewards credit card through the Rewards Travel Center (online/by phone), you will earn 4 bonus points, in addition to the base earn, per each $1 in Net Purchases.

Bonus points are deposited into the reward account after payment has been processed for a prepaid hotel and/or car reservation. In the Rewards Center under point history, you will see the bonus points that have been awarded. Please allow 1-2 statement billing cycles for your bonus points to appear on your credit card statement.

You will earn 4 additional bonus points over the base earn of your rewards credit card. Bonus points are earned at the component (car or hotel) level and are not calculated based off order total.

For example: Mrs. Ford contacted the Reward Center to reserve a car for holiday travel. She prepaid $100.00 for the car rental using her rewards credit card. An example of her base point earn for each $1 spent in eligible net purchases is 1 point. Therefore, she would be awarded 100 ($100 x 1) points for base earn + 400 ($100 x 4) bonus points for a total of 500 points.

Annual Fee

If you are eligible to redeem Points for your Annual Fee the redemption option will display in the Rewards Center on the Home Page. Click on the link and follow the redemption steps.

If you redeem Points for this redemption option more than 3 business days before your Annual Membership Fee is billed, a credit in the amount of the Annual Membership Fee will be applied on the next business day after the fee is billed on your statement. If you redeem after that, a credit in the amount of the Annual Membership Fee will be applied 7-10 business days after the date of redemption.

Merchandise

You can track your package by clicking on the tracking number link provided on your profile page under “Delivery method” or you can call the Rewards Center at 888-229-8864.

All redemptions are final. However, if your item is damaged, defective, or mis-shipped, please refer to the terms and conditions on the product’s item detail page within the Rewards Center or on the packing slip you received with the item(s).

Event Tickets

No, Currently the only way you can redeem for event tickets is to log in to your Reward Account at myaccountaccess.com then visit the Rewards Center. Click the link for “event tickets” from the navigational menu.

You can redeem for sports, concert, and theater events across North America.

No, you will not be able to cancel your order. All redemptions are final.

Real-Time Rewards

It’s a rewards method that enables you to instantly redeem points when you make a credit card purchase. Your mobile device can be used to immediately redeem points in the form of a credit to your monthly billing statement.

First, complete a 2-minute registration to set your preferences. Then, after you make a purchase that meets your preferences, and receive a text asking if you want to use points to redeem immediately after the purchase, simply reply ‘REDEEM’ to the message to complete the redemption. Your points will be deducted from your points balance and redeemed in the form of a credit to your monthly billing statement. See Program Rules for additional details.

The text message is sent at the time of the qualifying purchase. You have 24 hours from the time the purchase is made to respond to the text message and redeem points.

Most gas and restaurant purchases are not available for Real-Time redemption because they are often two-stage authorization processes. For instance, restaurant purchases often have a tip after the initial authorization.

No, Real-Time Rewards text messages are available only for transactions with U.S. merchants.

You may receive a Real-Time Rewards text message for an auto bill pay transaction if the purchase falls within your preference selections.

The statement credit may be different from your final purchase amount if the transaction included a gratuity, fees, or estimated taxes.

You can opt-out at any time by going online to the Rewards Center or by texting ‘STOP’ to REDEEM (733336) or by calling the Rewards Center at 888-229-8864. After you opt-out, you may still receive text messages for up to 24 hours. Please see Program Rules for additional details.
